- 1930's Flexible Flyer Racer Sled
- I would like to know the year of my flexible flyer sled and if it has any value. It is in pristine condition graphics wise. It has straight runners that do not curve up in the back. The eagle logo with the words Flexible Flyer is in the center of the sled and it is carrying a sled. It says Racer on the top and bottom and the sled has a black pinstripe outline. The front is made of metal and has two slanted yellow lines and the wooden steering bar has black pinstripe and triangualar graphics. There is also an arrow painted down the center that points towards the front. This sled is in Mint condition except for the fact that one of the wooden brakes is broken. It is beautiful to look at. I hope it is not fake. Can you help me out?

- 80's board game. Two swinging plastic axes, bones, and coffin. Pits n' Pendulums?
- I'm trying to find this game we used to have as kids in the early to mid eighties. I think the game was called Pits n' Pendulums where you would try to pick plastic bones out of the piece that held the swinging axes and put them in the plastic coffin below. The lid would slide down as you picked each bone off of the bracket without letting the axes hit your fingers. What is this game called? And where could I find one?

- I'm trying to find a toy that my son loved in the 80's. It had a plastic yellow beeper that when you placed this beeper on cards that had questions it only beeped on the correct answer. You would get card packets through the mail according to his age group. The beeper had an owl on it with rainbow stripes and a pen in his wing. It was originally made by Whitman Scribblers but Mattel bought them out and I don't where it went from there.

- Beautiful Walking Doll - 1960s
- I would dearly love to find a doll that I had in the 1960s. Although I lived in Ireland, I think the doll may have been bought in Italy. She was a stunning beauty with long silky straight black hair, with a walking mechanism and about 18-24 inches tall I think. She originally wore a very glamorous silky blue dress with white lace overskirt and white shoes and socks. We called her Sophie/Sophia - not sure if this was the original name, but I think it was on the box. Her head broke off unfortunately because it was held in place by the plastic bar inside that was connected to the legs and this bar broke in our doll. Very sad day and we played with her for a long time after even though her beautiful head was separate to her body! I have searched the Internet many time but no luck in finding her. Thanks if you can help.

That crab went with her everywhere and it was recently lost on a cross country trip.I CANNOT find this crab anywhere. I've used every search engine and tried every Babies R Us but they no longer sell them. If ANYONE could help me locate it I would truely appreciate it. It was actually what I think they refer to as a "ring rattle" due to the cut out in the middle for infants to hang on their arms/wrists. It also had pinchers/legs all along outter edge and eyes at top. When I bought it there was also a monkey version to accompany the set. Thank You for any assistance in locating this crab.

- Hi,My mum recently told me of a doll that I had when I was very little, it was a baby doll that cried when you took her dummy out, or if you reversed a disc in her back she would laugh when you took out her dummy. Apparently the dolly went missing not long after I got her (mum suspects one of our neighbours) and she was not able to find another to replace it. I would love to find one of these dolls to replace the one that was 'lost', unfortunately I have no idea of the name or maker of the doll. Do you have any ideas of what it may have been called or where I may find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ruth.

It's a figurine that has hollow, articulated limbs, and elastic is strung throughout the body, and is fastened to a pedestal upon which the figurine stands. A button hidden in the pedestal, when pressed, causes the entire body to 'droop', from a slight bend to complete collapse, depending on how far the button is pushed . . . - Handheld Car Race Game From the 1970s or Early 80s
- I am looking for a handheld race car game I had as a child in the late 70s, early 80s. Basically there was a little track on this handheld game with about 5 to 10 little cars on the track. There was a little dial on the game that had an thumb dial that you would spin which enabled the lil cars to go round and round the lil track, each at their own pace but still racing. Each time a different car would win. I think it worked by the principle that the lil cars were magnetic and so was the track, but once again, each time you used your thumb or finger to rotate the dial counter clockwise the cars would go into motion until one crossed the finish line. Does anyone remember who made that game or what that game was. Thanks! LT

Each character came with a plastic magnetic key that you would use to move them around the town by placing it under the road/floor of a house that the character was in. (each character had a magnet on the bottom of their feet) I specifically remember a pink mansion that had a grandfather clock in it with little magnetic mice that would run up and down the clock. There were also many lights on the houses and buildings that lit up....i can remeber all that..but not the name! Help me please! Every internet search i do using words like girls, playset, magnetic, town, early 90's comes up with no answers! Help me Doc.!

The bugle was green with a yellow horn and yellow mouth piece. When you pressed the mouth piece the bugle played one of two music pieces, I believe one was revelry and the other might have been Taps. This was a wide plastic bugle with a hinged door on one side that opened. The chamber held the disk that played the music; you could take the disk out and flip it over to play either melody. On the top of the bugle were a Snoopy Beagle Scout figure and a Woodstock following behind him. We have the Snoopy figure and on the bottom of his stand it is stamped Mattel. I would love to find one to purchase.

- Mechanical Dump Truck like new Rokenbok
- I remember playing with an electronic mechanical dump truck that was on a track. It was late 70's to mid 80's. It would pick up these small brown balls, move them and dump them on another part of the track. I think the truck was brown as well, and I think it was called "Mighty Max", or "Mini Max" dump truck. It was similar to the new rokenbok toys.

Both the dump truck and the steam roller are plastic, can be disassembled with a plastic wrench (included) and have clear bodies, so that kids can see all the gears working when fully assembled. I have pictures, I just don't know how to attach them to this note. Thanks, Timmy.

- Mid-90's Dollhouses/sets
- I have 3, quick, & detailed inquiries. These are all from the mid-90's. I remember these as clear as day, but I'm having trouble tyring to find them, because of the names, etc. 1. These little, mini dollhouses were made in the mid-90's, they were commercialized, they had a commerical, had mini re-arrangeable rooms, which had little pegs on them, the roofs and homes were detachable & arrangeable. 2. These were featured in the JC Penny holiday catalogs (between 1994-1997). One was called the "Talking Family Dollhouse" and the other was a dollhouse that had real working lights, and came with a caucasian, blond hair/blue-eyed doll with a little blue dress, and this one was also re-arrangable and had a purple roof. 3. This little dollhouse set was sold a places like the Family Dollar stores. It was a set of mini bears and they had mini houses, mini cars, mini fences, it was a mini bear town.

- PLASTIC BUILDING TOYS- LATE 80'S EARLY 90'S
- I have been looking for this toy all over. Its from the late 1980's or early 1990's. It was a type of building toy that came with a red cube with 9 holes in each side (i think)AND one side was open so you could put things into it (like when we made a shopping cart). Also had yellow parts either with 3,4,5 or 6 holes and you could screw them together with nuts & bolts. There were also blue wheels and cylinder tubes (we used tubes for a handle bar for shopping cart). You could screw the yellow pieces together and then bolt them to the cube to make a car, shopping cart, lawn mower. Also had white pieces that could screw on but i don't know what those were for. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! I wish I knew who made these or what they were called. My aunt is looking for a pic if that would help I can post that as soon as I get it. Thanks for your time.

- Plastic Wind-Up Babies
- Does anyone know the name of a series of dolls (probably less than 10)that were sold in the late '70s or early 80's at Walmarts and other dept. stores that sold toys? These plastic babies were only about 6 inches long and were wind-up toys. I believe that the entire series only had painted on diapers (no other clothes) One specific baby was on it's hands and knees and after winding, it would crawl.

I would love to buy one if I could find it somewhere. Anyway, the picture is at: http://www.islandoftoys.com/?q=node/136 The set included a large (at least to me at 5 years old it was large) brown and white boat that sat atop some plastic "rock" base. The set included several divers in yellow suits and various other accessories. The closest figures I can find that resemble the ones in the set are Matchbox "Mobile Action Command" or Star Toys "Action Jacks". Anyone know who made this? The boat says on the hull, "Sea Searcher II" or "Sea Searcher 2" for those who might stumble across this site without searching for the Roman numerals.

I believe there were also diamond green pieces that allowed for triangular connections.

- I'm looking for a toy I saw in a toy store about a year ago (and it may have been a year or so old then.) It was a large soft light-green frog that sat upright on a lily pad. It's mouth was wide open, and there were colorful flies or insects that the child could put into the frog's mouth, and then take out (perhaps through the bottom) and do it all again. It was more than $35, probably about $45 or $50ish. Would you know which toy I'm talking about, and who made it? I've been searching online and on eBay and I can't find it. Thank you.

- My dad bought this race set in the early 70's. The track was heavy duty plastic and about 5-6 inches wide and the turns were even wider and banked very steep. The cars were probably 3 or 4 inches long and you put them on a device I called it the crank device as you'd put the car on there and crank the white lever on the device back and forth to wind the car up. You then put 3 to 4 cars on the track and enjoy the race. My brothers and I wore this track out to the point I believe my mom tossed it out on us. I was too little to remember or care. I want to find this toy and buy it again for my family. IT IS NOT a Sizzler track. Thanks!

- TOY RIFLE - SPY RIFLE
- I have been looking all over the internet for a spy rifle that my brother and I had received for Christmas sometime in the late 70s - very early 80s. It was a large rifle, blue in color; it had several flying disks to deliver secret messages; a signal mirror with a red plastic len on one end that you used to read secret messages. it attached to the side of the rifel; it had a secret compartment in the stock to hide and store secret messages and the rings that came with it; it had finger rings that you needed to lock/unlock the secret compartment and the trigger of the rifle; i beleive it also had a ball with a parachute that you could put secret messages in and shot it out of the rifle. The name of the rifle or at least the description of the rifle had both the words "seven" and "eleven" in it. The rings I think had the number "7" on them. I think someone else had posted the same question in Dec 2006 as listed below: TOY RIFLE - BRIGHT BLUE I'm looking for a toy "spy" rifle I received as a Xmas gift in the late 70's. It was Blue with a removable black "scope" that also had mirrors in it to see over things. It shot spinner disks off the front of it and had a secret compartment in the stock which held a key that locked and unlocked the trigger. It was huge and didn't look at all like a "rifle" but was the coolest thing ever! Please help. My son would LOVE this thing If you or anyone else could provide a name and/or a picture of this rifle, I would greatly appreciate it.
