Dr.Toy - Ice Cool
Ice Cool

Brain Games Publishing

Ice Cool is the first flicking game with pieces that curve and jump. It is unique with two major innovations: its flicking techniques and the ‘box-in-a-box’ setup. These two innovations add value to the gaming industry as a whole. The special method of flicking pieces creates a whole new bag of tricksplayers can make the pieces slide, curve, jump, dive or bump against the walls. The new ‘box-in-a-box’ board concept isquick and easy to set up. Each Ice Cool game contains five boxes that players fasten together with pins, creating an immersive 3D game board in less than a minute.. One player is the Catcher, and the others are Runners. Everyone takes a turn at being the Catcher, so the number of rounds equals the number of players. Runners start in a classroom, and their job is to slide through the doors and grab the fish. The Catcher’s job is to tag Runners and take their ID cards. When a Runner gets a fish, he or she also gets a fish card. When the Catcher tags someone, he or she takes the Runner’s ID card. At the end of the round, everyone gets additional fish cards, depending on the number of IDs they have taken. The round ends when one Runner has gotten all the fish in his or her color, or when the Catcher has tagged all the Runners. Now, players change roles and play another round. At the end of the game, all the players reveal their fish cards, and the person with the most victory points wins. Ice Cool was launched for the first time in the United Kingdom, and will be launched in more than 16 other countries worldwide during 2016. Immediately after the launch, the game received high recognition. The game was introduced to thepublic in the USA for the first time at Gen Con 2016, the largest tabletop-game convention in North America. The multiple award-winning game is created by the board games publisher Brain Games. Ice Cool is a children’s game for 2-4 players, and takes approximately 30 minutes to play.
